Jeffrey Alan Heck

After a long journey of battling cancer, Jeffrey Heck of Rochester Hills, ended his battle on May 13th, 2016 at the age of 53. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on June 14th, 1962. Jeff was a graduate from Rochester Adams High School. He went on to marry Lisa (Sobosky) Heck on July 14th, 1984. Jeff worked as an Operating Engineer, Local 324, for Commercial Contracting Corporation. His passions included hunting, fishing, Detroit sports, camping, Rochester Hills Little League baseball, and most importantly his family. Jeff was preceded in death by his brother Bruce Heck. He is survived by his wife Lisa Heck; his children Rachel Ann-Marie (Heck) Blackstock, Rebecca Linn (Heck) Brown, and Lauren Elizabeth Heck; his grandchildren Alexis Ann Brown and Wyatt James Blackstock; his siblings Rusty Altz, Ernest Heck Jr., Barry Heck, and June Phillips; his parents Ernest Heck and Phyllis Kelley; along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. A memorial service will be held at Jeff’s home on May 22nd, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Red Cross or the American Cancer Society.
