He was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 3, 1958. Mike graduated from Wylie Groves High School and had a career in print technology for The Oakland Press. Mike was a Army veteran and he served as an Artic Paratrooper. He also had a passion for reading.
Mike is survived by his siblings Martha Phoebus, Edward Phoebus, and Mary Synowiec.
