Mitch "Big Fella" Glowacki

Glowacki, Maciej, age 77 of West Bloomfield passed away on August 1, 2015. He was born in Prezemysl, Poland on January 21, 1938. Maciej received an MBA and M-Mechanical Engineering from Politechnical University in Poland and the University of Detroit. He worked as a development engineer for Ford Motor Com., Visteon, and Neapco. Maciej was awarded numerous technical achievements and patents. He had a passion for fencing, held the title of Polish champion in fencing, formula one racing, football, water skiing, downhill skiing, and swimming.

He was survived by his wife Ludwika, married for over 40 years. They were blessed with three children; Martin, Matthew, Rafal, daughters –in – law Marcie, Joyce, grandchildren; Kameron, Rayan, Alexander, Victor, Dominik, and brother; Bartek

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 6, 2015 from 4-7pm at Pixley Funeral Home Godhardt-Tomlinson Chapel, 2904 Orchard Lake Rd. Keego Harbor, MI, 48320.

Mass will be held on Friday August 7, 2015, 11am at St. Mary’s Shrine Chapel, 3535 Indian Trail, Orchard Lake, MI 48324.
