Robert A. Whitmore, age 78, of Keego Harbor, Michigan passed away on July 26, 2022. Robert was born on April 24, 1944 in Pontiac, Michigan. Bob graduated from West Bloomfield High School. He was married to Mary Whitmore on June 16, 1972.
Bob worked at General Motors and the Tri-City Fire Department, along with being the Mayor of Keego Harbor for a period of time. He enjoyed golfing and the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Bob is survived by his children, Danielle Whitmore and Matthew (Tammie) Whitmore; his grandchildren, Samantha, Mike, Zachery, and Dylan; his great grandchild, Hayden Grace; and his sister, Linda Hathaway. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Whitmore.
A visitation for Robert will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 11 AM to 2 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 2 PM at Family Funeral Care, 2904 Orchard Lake Rd., Keego Harbor, MI 48320.
