Sharon Lynn Gaeth

Sharon Lynn Gaeth, age 76, of Pontiac, was born September 5, 1947 and passed away August 8, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Gaeth. Loving mother of the late Pennie Schneider, the late Andrea Gaeth, Tammi (Keith Hanson) Mathes, Carrie (James II) Simpson, Thomas Gaeth, and Mark VanKuren, and mother-in-law of the late Oliver Mathes III, and Bruce (Kristi) Schneider. Proud grandmother of Kassandra (Martin) Snow, Andrew (fiancée Chelsea) Schneider, Brett Schneider, Torri (fiancé David Franklin) Mathes, Tailor Mathes, Oliver Mathes IV, Marleesha (Elijah) Jackson, the late James Simpson III, Laden Gaeth, and Jordan VanKuren. Cherished great-grandmother of 12. Dear sister of Linda (Ernie) Witt. Sharon will be missed by a host of nieces/nephews and great-nieces/great-nephews, and by numerous other family members and friends. Sharon was preceded in passing by her parents, Andrew and Margaret VanKuren; and her siblings, Gerald, Grace, Sandy, Bob, Chuck, and George.

Sharon was known for her love of Diet Pepsi, Ritz Crackers, Marlboro Red Soft Packs, and her passion for crafts. She enjoyed spending her time playing Bingo, trying her luck with the lottery, and watching her favorite shows like NCIS, Law and Order, and Family Feud. Above all, Sharon cherished her family, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.
