Virginia Freda Yapo, age 73, of Pontiac; passed away peacefully December 15, 2013 surrounded by her children. Virginia "Ginny" beloved wife of the late Michael J. Yapo, is survived by her children Phyllis Walsh (Dennis), Michelle Lord, Michael Yapo (Lori) and Cheryl Yapo Morais; eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sister Sandy Murray (Sam), Ruth Gonzales (Mingo), brother Robert Hinojosa (Cindy), predeceased by her brother Gary Hinojosa; many nieces and nephews; her loving puppy Tasha and many dear friends. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Pixley Funeral Home, Godhardt-Tomlinson Chapel, 2904 Orchard Lake Rd., Keego Harbor. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
