Ann Elizabeth Smith

Ann Elizabeth (Cason) Smith, a longtime resident of Killeen, was born September 10, 1926 to the late Alvie and Nobie Cason in the family home in Chandler, Texas and she died December 23, 2014 at her residence at Trinity Care Center in Round Rock, Texas.

Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings; two older brothers, Noble Cason and Boyce Cason, and a half-sister Doris Jean Cason; and her grandson, Jimmy Holzler.

She is survived by her six children, Lynda Lieske of Rising Sun, Maryland; Kay Schomp of Killeen, Texas; Chuck Smith (Brenda) of Liberty Hill, Texas; John Michael Smith of Waco, Texas; Jefferson Smith of Kempner, Texas and Lisa Everett (Bryan) of Nolanville, Texas; eleven grandchildren, Sherri LaMonica, Scott Lieske, Sabrina James, Chris Everett, Amanda Jordan, Allison Lambert, Alex Johnson, Lee (Bogie) Smith, Zach Smith, Augustus Everett, and Wilson Everett; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Lucas, Morgan, and Anthony LaMonica; Ian and Ward James; Jacob, Joshua, Jace Everett; Levi and Seth Stang; Tristen and Jakelyn Jordan; and Bailey Johnson.

Visitation and funeral services will be Friday, January 2, 2015 at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas. Visitation is 12 p.m. and the funeral service follows at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Concord Cemetery in Chandler, Texas.
