Man i can’t believe this, i had some memories thought of and messaged you the other day last i knew you were in Texas and this pains me to see and now i know why you never responded.  I’ll forever be grateful knowing you and remembering our study nights together in our shared classes at Kansas state and the amount of edm sets we listened to and driving around manhattan. You are a light to all and i send condolences to your family.

Just finding out.  Hadn't seen you guys for years.  Our thoughts are with you guys and never hesitate to reach for anything you need.  We're still located in Houston.

We became acquainted with Blake when he shared a house at KSU with our sons, Gregory and Jeffrey.  He was a good friend to the boys those 2 years and helped both of them find a sense of belonging their first 2 years at KSU.  
He talked about his family and always smiled when he did.  May you find peace knowing he was loved by so many.

He always made everyone laugh, and just radiated positivity. Always gonna remember how him and Hunter introduced me to Star Wars our freshman year at Tabor, and our marathon days of watching countless movies, YouTube clips, etc. of the series cause I had to “know all the details” 

Despite living in rival towns I didn’t know Blake in high school but as soon as he came to Tabor he let me know how much better Chapman was then Abilene. As one of the athletic training students at Tabor I spent a lot of time with the football team and he was always putting a smile on our faces. He will be missed.

Blake was one of my first friends and roommate 4 years ago coming to KSU. Having him and my brother there to guide me is undoubtedly the reason why I did not quit school. I will forever be grateful for all the help, laughs, Raiders trash talk, nights, and memories I was able to make that year. Thank you Blake, you’ll never be forgotten, love you.

Blake was truly amazing, I literally dreaded everyday I lived in Kansas after getting a scholarship to Tabor and Blake Made being there Worth while there wasn’t an ounce  of negativity  in his Bones. He always had my back on and off the field and I’ll never forget him Rest in heavenly peace Brother 

I was a teammate and friend of Blakes at Tabor and remember how kind and willing to serve he was, especially when we had chemistry together, he basically was my tutor and helped me pass.  I’ll miss talking sports with him and just talking about life, you’ll be missed friend ❤️

Blake and I met our first year at K-State, we were both the night owls of our floor at Marlatt Hall and we would stay up to study, talk, play video games. After our first year at K-State we moved in together til he finished school and had been great friends ever since that night in the dorm. 

Blake was always there when you needed a laugh or someone to talk to. I will miss him. He was always there and was never afraid to listen. One of the best friends a guy could ask for. 

Blake and I were both freshman at Tabor and played football together. He was always making people laugh with ease it was crazy! I couldn’t believe the news when I heard. Blake… when we meet again, we’re going to a Chiefs, Steelers game ❤️

There are so many memories over the past few years I could share. We gamed together every day for the past few years, we became best friends over the time, and we’ve saved each other on multiple occasions. You were always there no matter what. You were my no matter what buddy. You had a personality like a magnet, you attracted everyone towards you and you were a great person despite all the hurt you held inside. Blake, I’m so sorry I couldn’t save you from this. Until we meet again. I’ll forever hold you close to my heart. You’ll always be my best friend..

I am so sorry to hear about Blake’s passing.  Blake is a young man who had such a bright light.  My first year at Chapman, I have this vivid memory of Blake in the cafeteria telling a story. At one point,  Blake jumped on the chair with his hands out with a giant smile on his face.  When I walked over to the table the entire group of kids had a smiles on their faces.  That is how I will remember Blake. Hands out, smile on and his bold and bright light.  My prayers to Brittany and the family. 

We are deeply saddened from the news of Blake’s passing. We really enjoyed having Blake in our classrooms. We looked forward to seeing him every single day! He was such a hardworking, positive young man, always respectful and caring. On the football field as in life Blake always gave his all. Everyone respected him and knew that they could always count on him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends! God’s blessings and comfort on you all.

I met Blake in college at Kansas State. We became close friends and shared mutual interests in sports, politics, etc. He was one of the most intelligent people I got to know as well as a caring person. If I needed help with something, or I needed someone to talk to, he was there. I will never forget that. I remember all the times we went to the rec to hoop while talking about the latest NBA news and then going to Dennys in Manhattan in the wee hours of the morning. To Blake's family: I am very sorry for your loss. Blake was truly an amazing person and I'm blessed to have got to know him.

One of my closest friends, Blake will forever be missed. He always knew how to make someone smile, Blake was the one person I looked forward to seeing everyday. My heart goes out to his family I’m so sorry for such a great loss. I’ll always miss the late night whataburger trips and joking around with him at work. He loved house music, he would send me his favorite songs all the time. Now it’s the only playlist I can listen to. I love you Blake, you’re forever in my heart. ❤️

A great person, a great teammate, and an even greater friend, there is no one I would rather have had watching my back on and off the field, and I know you still will be. There won’t be a day that passes where I won’t think of something from you that’ll make me laugh. Thanks for the good times. I’ll miss you brother.

Blake and I share many of memories together, and I wish we could’ve made more together but the ones I have of us, I’ll hold in my heart forever.   He was bigger than life, full of great advice, and could always put a smile on my face no matter what was going on in my life.   I’ll always remember all the good times we shared, the CFA dates, and just the pointless things we did together in college to pass the time but those were the times that mean the most to me.   Rest easy big fella.  💜

Blake was a fine young man who I got to know throughout our time together at Chapman. You always knew exactly where Blake stood on a subject, and when he believed in something (like being a great student or supporting his team as a lineman), he would fight till the bitter end to make sure he got the result he wanted. Never without his shorts (even in the midst of a blizzard in Kansas), he was very good at making his friends laugh at his exploits. Even after our time at CHS, we would have the occasional class together at K-State, and though it wasn't long, the "studying" we attempted together as a group of CHS grads was one of the highlights of my year.  This world lost a great friend, and I hope I and the rest of his friends can carry on that grit to get the job done that Blake exemplified.

Blake was one of my first friends in middle school and continue threw high school and talk occasionally after high school!  He was one that brought the best out of you in the classroom, sports competitions or just life in general! I give my deepest sympathy to the family!! Will miss you buddy! 

Our hearts are broken from the news of Blake’s passing. Such a great young man, always with a smile on his face, always polite and respectful , a great neighbor,  just a really good kid. On Friday nights on the football field you would not find a fiercer competitor.

Blake was a very big part of the Sweet family, he was a great and loyal friend to our son and daughter. We enjoyed every moment of time that we spent with him. We loved him for his terrific sense of humor and his competitive spirit. We were honored to be a part of his life. Please accept our condolences. 

I knew Blake when he was in High School. I was his Offensive Line Coach and Chemistry teacher. Blake was a very gifted individual, not only on the football field but in life as well. 
I use Blake's highlight video to show my players today how his position is supposed to be played. He was one of the best, if not  thee best I ever had the chance to work with. 
He was smart, funny, respectful, and always looked out for his teammates and classmates. He was a remarkable young man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. I'll always remember his laugh and his smile. He will be missed.

I met Blake in college and I knew we'd immediately be friends. He could make you laugh for days with his wit and charm. He was a thoughtful and intelligent guy that always had something interesting to say. He was a natural leader and brought others together. I got this news through mutual friends who Blake actually introduced me to and I was devastated. To Blake's family, I am sincerely sorry for your loss, and I want to thank you for bringing up such a good man that had a positive impact on so many young people. He will live on through the relationships of people that he brought together. To Blake, I'm sorry we never got to have that weekend in Kansas to catch up. I'm sorry I can't give you a hard time about the Chiefs or the Spurs one more time and we can't talk politics for hours and solve all the world's problems again. I'm sorry that you were taken way too soon and I promise that you will live forever in our hearts. I love you brotha, see you on the other side ❤️
