I extend my condolences to all those who loved Bryan, and there were many of us. To his family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. 
In addition to his many qualities, Bryan was an exceptional instructor and mentor. Following his time at III Corps Exercises, the Mission Training Complex's (MTC) collective training team (MCTT) was lucky to hire Bryan as their Intelligence trainer, working with S2s, G2s and their staffs during exercises and preparatory events.  Bryan devised an "Intel Week" to prepare the younger staffs for the rigors of MDMP and operations, eventually to succeed at the National Training Center. It turned out to be the MTC's most requested event, eventually growing into a second week, then extending into the Army's mandated Military Intelligence Training Strategy (MITS).  The event's success and popularity hinged on one exceptional instructor - Bryan Peterson.  Bryan was great at what he did because of his admirable knowledge and skills; but he was exceptional because he cared about his students, to the extent that he maintained remarkable contact with them long after they PCS'd from Fort Hood to other units in the Army.  Lieutenants, who are now majors and lieutenant colonels, majors and lieutenant colonels who are now generals consistently reached out to Bryan for advice, the latest products, and training.  Such was Bryan's contribution, impact and reach to our green suiter brethren. Bryan's legacy extends all over our Army.
We miss you, brother! Be thou at peace.

I have known Bryan since I arrived to FT Hood years ago. There is an endless list of Soldiers he led, helped, mentored and cared for.  His legacy speaks for itself. 
I know if God had a refrigerator, Bryan’s picture would be on it. Rest well brother!

I first met Bryan in 2022 and since then I used him as a sounding board and mentor when planning training or even on what my next job would be. I was always amazed how he was able to mentor both officers and Soldiers and improve their ability to do their military tasks. He truly cared that Soldiers received great training and always went the extra mile to prepare them for whatever task the Army gave them. You will truly be missed as a leader, kind and intelligent  person,  and mentor to so many throughout the years.

Bryan has been a huge part of my development as an officer from the time I was a 2nd Lieutenant through my time as a Major.  His wisdom and the genuine care he displayed for the training of Soldiers is something that I will never forget.  No obstacle was ever too big for Bryan, no request ever too crazy.  He always found a way to make it work.  Thank you for everything, Bryan.

Brian was one of the good ones.   Always willing to share his experience at training and staff planning. You will be missed.

Bryan your loss will be felt by so many … your family, your friends and the countless Soldiers you mentored across the Army.  From the very start of our friendship, I learned if you were being especially nice, a joke or prank was soon to follow, and then that “smirk”.  From settling your travel vouchers, (SMH, who knew anyone could spend so much on room service?), your 59-minute cigars, to creating the best game of “Where’s Waldo” ever,  and all the hallway humor, you sure knew how to make work fun. You were truly “One of a Kind”.  Thanks for the memories, Big Guy.  I’m sure going to miss you. I know JC was waiting at the gates for you; fly high and rock out with the Angels.

Missing my good friend and team-mate.  Bryan was a giant among intelligence professionals and a mentor.  It will be an honor to continue to build on the foundations you set as a fellow 4th Infantry Division Soldier and colleague at the Fort Hood Mission Training Center.  I will miss you my friend!

"Brian was a powerhouse in the intelligence world and brought so much to the table here at the MTC. But beyond his sharp intellect, he was a wonderful friend. We bonded over our mutual love for tri-tip steaks and fine bourbon. Whether we were comparing seasoning techniques or tracking down a rare bottle for one another’s collections, Brian always brought passion and humor to the conversation. He was a 'bourbon buddy' in the truest sense. He leaves a massive void both professionally and personally, and he will be deeply missed by all of us."

Going to miss BP and his heart of gold. He was always generous and kind. I’m especially going to miss those nightly 'cigar-and-a-laugh' texts he’d send. Thanks for being a friend and all the laughs, BP. You were one of a kind.

A true hero that was a great friend that selflessly served the 3 Corps and Fort Hood community for decades.  We shared many great times and some tough ones too. I’ll miss you Bryan.

Bryan was a great friend. He was a Brother to me. He was generous and always giving, from frequent breakfast tacos at work for the team and lunch BBQ’s where he always brought a feast to share. Bryan always had me laughing and I cherish the times we spent together, both at work and the times we shared over food and adult beverages while talking over a wide range of topics. I’ll never forget those times and will miss them every day.
