Carol Yvonne Lewis

Carol was born on March 13,1942, in Princeton, Ky to JN and Bertha West. She attended Caldwell County Schools in Princeton. In 1967, she married David Lewis, and they made their home in Killeen. Carol was a homemaker, and she loved her flowers, working in the yard, and a good steak every Saturday. In her younger years, she enjoyed working with cutting horses, and playing golf at the old Oak Ridge Country club.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Kellie Lynn Kaminska, (Jim), her grandsons David Lee Garrell IV (Samantha), of Harker Heights, Corey Barrett (Ashley), of Belton, Tyson Kaminska, of Pflugerville, and Kelsie Kaminska of Killeen. She also leaves behind two great grandsons, Grayson and Brayden Barrett, great granddaughters Zoey and Rylee Garrell, and Layla and Callie Kaminska. Her sister, LaVerne Couch, and brother Clifford West live in Kentucky.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Lewis, and her son, David Lee Garrell III.

A private burial will be held, then a celebration of life will take place Saturday, April 11, from 3-7 pm at 9721 E Trimmier Road, Killeen, across from Big Hoss BBQ. Snacks and refreshments will be served.
