He was a graduate of Temple High School. He worked as a used car salesman for 56 years in Waco, Temple and Killeen.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years Rubye Altman and son Charles David Altman Jr.
Charles is survived by his twin daughters Deborah Fay and Diane Dombkowski and two grandchildren.
Guests may call upon the family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Cemetery in Temple, TX.
If desired memorial donations can be made to the Skyline Baptist Church Building Fund.
