Daniel Hagans Jr.

Danny was born on June 20th, 1945 in Temple, Texas to Daniel “Steve” Hagans and Georgia Marie Hagans. Danny grew up in rural Killeen during the good ol’ days and was always up to some sort of shenanigan until he graduated from Killeen High School in 1964.

Having strong family roots in the Central Texas area, Danny stayed local and worked mainly in the residential construction field helping build part of what this town is today. Danny had a witty sense of humor, wisdom that would amaze you, and charm that would knock the socks off just about anyone.

Danny is survived by his younger sister, Judy; his daughter, Melisa Pearl; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kobe, and Brayden; and his loving nieces and nephew, Judy June, Abby, and Jason. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roy; his grandmother, Pearl; his loving parents, and sister, Sharon. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A graveside service will be held on May 1st, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Killeen City Cemetery.

Casual attire requested and appreciated.
