

Danielle Taylor Rivera, entered rest on October 24, 2016 at the age of 20. She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 30, 1996 to Ruben and Lucille Rivera, she was of Puerto Rican and German ancestry.
She graduated in 2014 from Ellison High School, where she received the American Welding Society Certification and was inducted as a Member of the National Technology Honor Society upon graduation. Danielle furthered her education graduating from TSTC Waco with an Associates of Applied Science in Welding Technology in May of 2016 with a 3.8 GPA. She was honored as a student on the President's List, inducted into Phi Theta Kappa fraternity, and National Member of the Honor Society. While in school she also received a scholarship for Women in Construction Technology. She served as the Treasurer of the TSTC Waco Student Chapter of the American Welding Society and Secretary for the Association of Female Welders from February 2015 until her graduation.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Lloyd A. Heinrichs, SR; and grandparents John and Virginia Rivera. She is survived by her parents; brother, Spencer Rivera; her nieces; Kodi and Alexandria Rivera; grandparents, Marilyn and Henry Nail of Las Vegas, NV; Karen Engen of Worthington, MN and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 28, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Killeen Memorial Park.
