Mrs. Daphne Zerina Morris, 72, of Killeen, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2020, with her family at her side. Daphne was born May 8, 1948 in St. Catherine, Jamaica to the late Mavis Ferron Cunningham.
Daphne moved to the United States about 16 years ago to spend time with her grandchildren. Her true passion in life was spending time with her family and helping raise her grandchildren. She was all about family and taking care of them. Her primary interest, other than family, was sewing, crocheting and cooking. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking and catering for others. Her proudest moments in life were seeing her daughter graduate from high school, her marriage to Leroy Gordon and thriving to see her grandchildren graduate. Daphne was passionate about anything she was doing and was always a respectable, God-fearing lady and raised her family in the same manner. She was loved by everyone that knew her and will be dearly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sharlyn Gordon and her husband Leroy; grandchildren, Samantha Gordon and Jermaine Gordon; siblings, Lionel McCalla, Wilfred Cunningham, Allan Cunningham, Dottie Cunningham, Elaine Cunningham, Miriam Cunningham, Joy Cunningham and Irene Cunningham; and a host of other family and close dear friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 7, 2020, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of the arrangements.
