David Royce Lilley

Dave was born November 25, 1941 to Richard Royce Lilley and Lila Lee Lilley in Los Angeles, California.

A graduate of John Marshall High School, Dave entered the United States Army in 1964 and served in Vietnam and Ft. Hood Texas.

In 1966 he married Judy Lynn Whitson and began a life together in California and then later making their forever home in Killeen, Texas.

After Judy's passing, Dave remarried to Joan Louise Tucker, expanding his family even further.

Dave was employed by several communities throughout Central Texas as a Building Inspector, Building Official and Director of Planning and Zoning.

During his younger years, Dave was an avid outdoorsman, choosing to take his family on camping and fishing trips whenever possible.

Dave was generous with his time, volunteering for many years as a member of the Lions Club and more recently as a member of the Moose Lodge #2179.

He is preceded in death by his father Richard, mother Lila, wife Judy and grandson Christopher.

He is survived by his sister Sue Zelko and husband Bob, spouse Jody Lilley, daughter Patricia Lilley and partner Michael Connell, son Jim Lilley and wife Stacy, David Lambert and wife Tracy, Kelly Pasowicz, Amanda Lightfoot and husband Troy, 8 nieces and nephews, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
