David proudly served his country in The United States Army, retiring as a Captain. His awards include the Army Commendation Medal w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster; Bronze star medal; Air Medal; Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Silver and 1 Bronze Service Stars, Purple Heart; Meritorious Unit Commendation and the National Defense Service Medal.
Mr. Mabry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
He is survived by his son Jason Mabry and one daughter, Heather Persick. He is also survived by his brother, John Edwin Mabry and 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A Visitation at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas for David will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Graveside Service at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, with full military honors, will occur Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
