Dirk William Corrao Sr., 39, of Central Texas passed away on November 22, 2025. Born in Jesup, Georgia, Dirk spent his childhood moving between various states and Germany during his father’s military service. Those early experiences shaped him into a genuine, grounded, and compassionate man-someone who cared deeply for everyone he met.
Dirk was ambitious and motivated, always striving to build a better life for those he loved. Family was the center of his world. Everything he did, he did for them. He was endlessly proud of his wife, Christina, honoring her service as an Army Veteran and never missed a chance to brag about his children. Riding motorcycles with his wife was one of his greatest joys, a symbol of their partnership and adventure together.
Friends and family will remember Dirk’s warm smile and his innate ability to fix problems-- whether mechanical, practical or personal. Over the years, he held many roles and explored numerous career paths, but one of his proudest achievements was contributing to growth of Austin Build Right into a thriving enterprise. Above all, his greatest passions were being a devoted husband, father, and son.
Dirk is survived by his loving wife Christina Corrao; his children Rozaline Fuentes, Jordan Minor, and Dirk Corrao Jr; his parents Suzanne and James Hildreth; and his sisters Samatha Baxter and Savana Guthrie; his grandmother Cindy Hales; his aunt Angel Roby; his uncle Wayne Corrao and his aunt Tiffany Jackson and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved cousin Chase Corrao and his grandfather Wayne Hales.
A funeral service honoring Dirk’s life will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Central Texas States Veterans Cemetery. A wake will follow at Jokers Icehouse Bar & Grill at 11:00 a.m.
Dirk will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of love, loyalty, and quiet strength will live on through his family and friends.
~Ride free, Dirk—your road continues in the hearts of those who love you~
