

Donald John Seguin, 82, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, at his Pflugerville home with his family by his side.
Don was born July 26, 1932, in New York City to Peter and Martha Seguin. His family moved to Dobbs Ferry, New York, where Don met and married his high school sweetheart, Bonita Kanuck, on June 16, 1956. He joined the Army the following year thus traveled around Europe, the Philippines, and the United States and served in the Vietnam and Korean wars. He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 in Killeen in 1976. He completed his college degree, graduating with honors from CTC. Don worked for 3M for 5 years and for Civil Service as a computer instructor for another 10 years before retiring in 1994. He and Bonnie moved to a retirement community in Pflugerville, Texas in 2011.
Don is remembered as a true family man, devoted to his wife of 58 years, strong in his faith, with a wry sense of humor. He was an active member of Marriage Encounter, St. Joseph Catholic Church, and the County Line Dancers, and kept busy with his 8 children, 17 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Don is survived by his wife, Bonnie, and his children, Russell Seguin, Donna Kohlbrenner, Brian Seguin, Wendy Steagall, Lisa Spears, Tracy Hundley, Gary Seguin, and Chris Seguin, and their families.
Visitation and rosary will be Monday, Sept. 29, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
