Flora C. Brown

Flora was born November 24, 1951 in Philippines to Marcelino and Maria Carig and attended high school and college in the Philippines. In 1989 she relocated to the United States. She has been an active member at St. Josephs Catholic Church and in the Philippine American Association of Central Texas.

Family members include her loving husband, Lindsay Brown of 30 years; sons, Christopher (Karen), Derek, Rex (Myrna), Efren (Olive), Vic (Tiffany); daughter, Amelia; Mother-in-law Lorenza McKinnon, Father-in-law Lindsay Brown, Sr.; brothers Jose Carig, Celito Carig (deceased), Enoy Carig, Narding Carig (deceased), and Ernig Carig, and sisters, Anita Carig Bowser (deceased) Nelly Carig Velloria, Behing Carig Bumanlag, Rosalina Elsokorry, Luming Carig (deceased); Sisters-in-law Wanda Daniels, Wilda Banks, Linda Brown, Stacie Brown, Connie Brown. Grandchildren Noelle Asuncion, Alex Asuncion, Cheiley Wells, Natalie Carig, Kylie Carig, Isabelle Carig, Elijah Asuncion, and Erin Asuncion, and many other loving family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00 until 8:00 Monday evening with a rosary being recited at 7 pm, June 28, 2010, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen, TX. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 29 2010 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Fr. Adam Martinez officiating. Interment will follow in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
