

Frederick Miller, Jr. was born Jan 24, 1931 in Mc Grann, PA to Frederick and Elizabeth Miller. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war and then civil service at Fort Hood. After retiring from civil service, he worked several years as a crossing guard for KISD. Mr. Miller married the love of his life, Ida Genevieve Griffin, on Feb 10, 1950. He was baptized on April 7, 1963 and was an active member of Lifeway Fellowship from its beginning. At age 84, he went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 9, 2015 joining his parents, sisters, Berdean Bentley & Winifred Clontz and brother, Ludwig J. Miller.
Survived by his wife of 65 years, Gene; sons, David (Jan) Miller of Bryan, Rick (Dennie) Miller of Temple and daughters, Pam (Dennis) Blansit of Georgetown and Robin (Bob) Mather of Killeen; grandchildren, Dr. Adam (Laura) Miller, Erin Miller Krauter, Cristina (Roger) Senclair, Rebecca (Troy) Mullen, Jennifer (Christopher) Magallan and Casey (Jeremy) Riddle; great-grandchildren: Kylie Senclair, Kaleb Senclair, Korey Senclair, Caitlyn Krauter, Owen Miller, Collin Miller, Claire Miller, Zoe Magallan, Ava Magallan and Kayla Riddle. He is also survived by sisters, Delores Carlesi and Carol Shaffer and brother, James Miller, and by numerous sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Miller loved his God, his family, church and friends and was a stranger to no one. He will be missed for his sense of humor and kindness to all.
