Hubert shared 67 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Bessie Voncile Herring. Together, they built a life rooted in love, commitment, and family.
He was the proud father of Hubert L. Herring Jr., Rodney Earl Herring, and Sonya L. Wilkinson. Hubert was also a loving grandfather to eight beautiful grandchildren and a great-grandfather to thirteen great-grandchildren.
Family was the most important thing in Hubert’s life. Above all else, he treasured time spent together. The only thing he ever asked of his children was simple and meaningful: to come together for Sunday supper, his treat. Those meals will forever be a treasured memory and lasting legacy of his love.
Hubert will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
