

Jacob was a retired United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He was decorated with the Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal (Bronze with 5 loops), National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Silver Service Star, NCO Professional Gallantry Cross Unit Citation, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Rifle Marksman Badge. Jacob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved to fish, garden, and gamble.
Survivors include his wife, Corazon Icmat of Killeen ; two daughters, Catherine Luna and Marie Icmat of Killeen; two sons, Joseph Icmat of Killeen and Jason Icmat of Bossier City, LA; and 11 grandchildren; Jacob, Joseph, Jocelyn, Joshua, Josiah, Jalen, Jason, Jasmine, Jonathan, Jaiden and Jayna. Other survivors include his siblings Erlinda Dizon, Philip Icmat, Fernando Icmat, Ricardo Capati, Epifania Quedding, and Romeo Capati of Vallejo, CA.
Memorial contributions on behalf of Mr. Icmat can be made to the Crawford Bowers Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 9, from 6 to 7p.m. following with a praying of the Rosary at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 10, at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
