Janicee is on the third row, third from the left. I am on the top row, second from left. 
She & I shared many “firsts” joining the Air Force together! The future was bright, exciting & full of adventures for two young ladies who grew up together! We were very close friends, most would say best friends! Through junior high  & high school we had many, many sleepovers discussing our lives & sharing secrets. She & I had a very similar sense of humor & we laughed so much together! She was a loyal friend! I remember vividly, one night before we drifted off to sleep, she and I were discussing life in the hereafter and I said to her, how will we find each other over there? And we thought for a bit and then we both described physical attributes about ourselves that the other would certainly remember and know (I’ll keep that secret). Then we both laughed & laughed!
I will look for you on the other side, Janicee! And I know  we will find each other again!
I will always cherish you!

Deepest condolences to you, David, and your entire family.

To the families of Janicee Ann, l wish to express my deepest and most heart felt condolences.  Although my sister Christine and l havent seen Janicee Ann in years, when l started my freshman year in high school, we were inseparable.  Connie was my best friend and Janicee Ann was my sister Chris's best friend. The Postens lived across lnterstate 44 from our farm, at what use to be Eden's Resort. We crossed the interstate to see each other hundreds of times. We swam in the Gasconade River almost everyday during the summer for several years.  We played softball during the summer and our Dads, Phil Orita and Eddie Posten were our coaches along with my grandfather, Alvin Hawkins. We walked the tunnels under the interstate together, we played in the snow together, layed out in the sun, went floating on the river and stayed the night at each others houses.  I remember Janicee Ann's favorite food then was bananas. We always had bananas at the farm.  Even though we didnt see each other later on in life, its hard for me to imagen Janicee Ann no longer being with us. Connie and Janicee played such a big role in my life then that when my eldest daughter, Mindy Joe, along with my first husband, were the ones who named my daughter.  I hope you rest in peace Janiceee Ann. You'll never be forgotten by me.

To Alice, Connie, Eddie and Jamie, 
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Janicee.  Although I have not seen you in many years, I can never go back home without remembering each of you fondly.   My memories of all of you are interwoven into my story, and I am so grateful to have them.   My memories of Janicee are ones that emphasize what has already been said.  She was so kind, but so fierce and would protect a sibling or a friend no matter what.  She was always a warrior, so her military service is not a surprise.  I am also  happy to hear that she was a teacher as well.  How lucky were those students to have had such a person in their lives!   Please know how lucky I feel to have had Janicee in my life if for only a brief time.  I wish you all peace at this very difficult time.

Janicee and I first met in 5th grade! She enjoyed life so much! One of my favorite memories is of her singing on the school bus! To this day, I find myself singing some of the songs she loved and I always think of her! She was one of those people you never forget!  My heart hurts for all of you!  With much love!  🙏  Etta

Condolences to the family, I knew Janicee from school and sometimes she would hang out at the cafe. Janicee  always seemed 
happy and full of life . I am truly sorry for your loss.

Prayers to Janices family and friends on their loss. I met her and Eddie our last two years of high school, so we weren't really close. Thru the years I have heard good things about her life. How she was one of our classes veterans, and had become a teacher. She was a good woman, as anyone who knew her already knows. I just wanted to say a word of condolence and that she was a positive influence even if she didn't realize it.

My condolences go out to Janicee’s husband and children and to the entire Posten family. Although I haven’t seen Janicee since we graduated high school, I have  fond memories of our time together at Stoutland. When you go to a small school, your classmates are like extended family. Our class has lost a few members over the years, and each one hurts. Janicee was such a vibrant personality and a force of nature. She will be missed. Alice, Connie, Eddie, and Jamie: please know I love you all like family and you are definitely in my heart at this tough time.
