Jennie Lee Spring-Moreno

Jennie Lee Spring- Moreno passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Trenton, Michigan on March 25, 1948.

Jennie had a great love for family and friends. Her favorite pass times included Bowling, Playing Bingo and gardening. She was married to her best friend, Ray Moreno. The couple enjoyed many trips to casinos in Las Vegas and Shreveport. Jennie and Ray also enjoyed world class cruises. She was very involved with the VFW, American Legion and the DAV.

Jennie is survived by her husband, Ray Moreno of Killeen, TX; a daughter, Dawn Tootle and her husband Scott of Round Rock, TX; a son, Billy Spring and his wife Tracy of Hewitt, TX; grandchildren, Miguel, Kristyn, Jordan and Taryn of Round Rock, TX; and Billy, Katalina and Nicholas of Hewitt, TX.

She will also be missed by her five sisters and brothers; Larry Seeley of Little Rock, AR; Judy Fugate, Gary Seeley and Michelle Wilson all of Broadway, NC; and David Zapata of Sanford, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. Burial will follow in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Scott and White Cancer Research of Temple, TX.
