Josephine Virginia Ward (Lu-LU, Josie) 54, entered into eternal peace May 15, 2019 in the peace of her home in Killeen, Texas. Josephine was born May 5, 1965 in Forest City Arkansas, the daughter of Mary Ann Blackwell and the late Carl Vaught Jr. She grew up in Marianna Arkansas and attended high at Killeen High School. Josephine has been employed at Walmart in Killeen, Texas for 25 years where she received many awards for her service. She was lively, outgoing and sociable woman who made friends easily but enjoyed her quite time at home. Everyone was always welcome in her home. Josephine loved helping and taking care of others, shopping, thrifting, planting flowers, and ceramics. She was detail-oriented, a planner, well organized and worked to stay ahead. A woman of warmth and love for mankind, even when faced with adversity she handled it with grace and dignity. She was raised Baptist and believed that God was the one and only true provider and she believed that we should do unto others as they would do unto us. Josephine was a friend, mother, counselor and confidant to family, coworkers and many more. She took care of everyone as if they were her children and never met a stranger. Josephine was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others. Josephine Ward had two loving daughters, Jessica Antionette Ward and Janine Patricia Ward. She was predeceased in death by her father Carl Vaughn Jr; her grandmother Josephine Davis; her aunt Mary Marie Steven and her uncle A.C. Davis Jr. Josephine leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children Jessica Ward of Killeen, Texas and Janine Ward of Killeen, Texas; grandson Frank Simon III; her mother, Mary Ann Blackwell; her sister Jo Ann Davis; her niece Deanna and her great niece Dion; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
