Biography:

I first met Koom while station with E 20th Infantry in South Korea Nov 1960. We started dating until early 1962. I returned to US and Station at Fort Benning, GA for six months .Then I returned to Korea and assigned to the seventh Infantry Division on Camp Casey and Camp Hovey late 1962. We resumed our dating until September 20, 1963. We married.

For 22 year’s Mrs. Clem was my friend and partner during our military career until I retired in Aug 1982.

For 20 year’s Mrs. Clem served as a homemaker during my Civil Service time until I retired in May 2003.

For 6 year’s Mrs. Clem continue as a homemaker during my time with the Boys & Girls Club of Copperas Cove, Texas

In Mar 2011, she became very ill and was taken to the hospital. On Mar 8 2011, she was taken to Indian Oaks Living Center to live. She was in and out of the hospital until her passing on Feb. 23, 2013.

Travel: She loves to travel the world.

States Traveled: Most of the 48th states

Religion: United Methodist Church: St Luke’s Methodist Church Killeen, Texas Year joined 2002

Hobbies were Fishing, Gardening, Sewing and Traveling.

Pets: She loved her miniature poodles. Angel and April. We lost April in Dec 2010.

Services: February 28 2013 Viewing was at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas from 6 pm – 8 pm. Service March 1 2013 At St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Killeen, Texas at 10 AM. Entombment will be at Killeen Memorial Park Killeen Texas.

A meal planned in honor of Mrs. Clem at Yank Sings restaurant after the entombment service.
