Kyong O Bleakley

Kyong Ok Bleakley, 62, passed away with her family by her side on January 26, 2014, in Temple, Texas. She was born on December 23, 1951, in Sinrim-myan, Kangwon-do, Kyonggi-do, South Korea to Sam Hok Kim and Sun Yi Hui. She married Richard Alexander Bleakley on February 14, 1973 in Seoul, South Korea. Mrs. Bleakley was a retired Defense Commissary Agency manager and her husband is a retired Army veteran.

Her interests included gardening, crocheting and fishing. She devoted much of her time to her family and friends.

Mrs. Bleakley is survived by her husband, Richard Bleakley; 2 daughters and their spouses, Sun Yi and John Scott, Kimberly and Tomas Sias; and 4 grandchildren, Mishe’ and Teliya Scott, Mia and Tomas Sias.

Viewing for Mrs. Bleakley will be on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00 am. Both events will be held at the Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas. The burial ceremony will take place immediately after the funeral service 1:00 pm at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
