

Louise married James J. Irby in 1963. Shortly after their marriage the couple moved to Killeen in 1967. She was a bookkeeper for many years before becoming a full time housewife. Her job as a housewife was very rewarding and something that she did with great pride.
Louise was preceded in death by both her parents, Roscoe LeRoy Carver and Jessie Gilbert Oliver. She is also preceded in death by her two brothers and one daughter, Erin Irby.
Nana is survived by her husband of 49 years, James J. Irby; three children; Hal Dunn, Judith Anne Umbarger and her husband John and Patricia Hanley and her husband Richard. She will also be missed by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Irby family will receive guests for a time of visitation on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral home of Killeen. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 1:30 PM in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral home of Killeen. Burial will be in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to New Century Hospice.
The Irby family would also like to say a special thank you to the staff at Seton Hospital, especially Suzette, Crestview Nursing Home and New Century hospice.
