She was born June 11, 1939, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Merle and Leona Heberling.
Marilyn attend Sandy High School and graduated in 1957.
Marilyn married Jon “Buck” Smith on February 2, 1962, and had 2 children. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jon “Buck” Smith.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Jon Scott (April) Smith and Chad (Dawn) Smith; three grandchildren, Eric, Charlene and Zachary Smith; four great grandchildren, Trista, Isabel and Braxton Smith and Stiles Brandon; a brother, Allen (Sherry) Heberling; one nephew, Allen (Bet) Heberling; one niece, Tracy (Charles) Schuckers as well as a large extended family from her 40 years living in Texas.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 23rd from 6 to 8 pm at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 S. Fort Hood Rd. Killeen, TX.
