My deepest condolences to you all. I was unable to attend the funeral service. I was Mike's Massage Therapist for many years. He was a father figure to me and also, a dear friend. We had  many moments of laughter and philosophical conversations that inspired me greatly.  I was always amazed at Mike's  ability  for recalling  very detailed pieces of information.  He had a mind like a steel trap. LOL. I admired his commitment and dedication to his family and compassion for others and always extended his hand to help others in need.  He is one of the greatest human beings I have ever known. My life is greatly enhanced because I knew him. And learned much from him. Thank you Mike for being a Steadfast Angel on Earth. Raven.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Michael !  He was a very nice man who always helped when needed.  He helped me several times when my tax business was beginning and growing.  He was always available to talk and give suggestions.  Blessing to the Family 

I'm very sorry to hear the passing of your grandpa Katelynn and dad Candie, it was a pleasure working with your father,he is a lifetime member of our officiating association on Fort hood sports officials.Mike will early be missed by all of us hear, especially his smile,we know he was dedicated to his family,especially Katie,we love you all and will keep you in prayer,thank you mr.walters for your generosity  and love for the soldiers.

I am so sorry to hear about Mike’s passing. I will remember all those good times we spent at the racetrack. He was a good guy and good friend and he will be missed.

I have known this man all of my life and I still can not wrap my head around any of this. I looked up to him as a father and loved him with all of my heart. Micheal you will be more than dearly missed and I will always carry you in my heart and never forget what a great man you are. I love you and miss you.

I was sooooo shocked when I saw Judy's post about prayers for Mike. And then Lars's telling of Mike's passing!  I'm soooo sorry! Even tho I didn't get to see you much after you left Traverse. I would think of you occasionally. And I am soo glad I was able to see you again at our last family reunion at Judy and Lars's home.  I so enjoyed talking with you. I'm glad I got that chance. You will forever be in Becky and my hearts forever. Although we moved from Killeen years ago you were our tax guy and more than that, you were our true friend. A friendship that started in 1996 while doing my Bogotá taxes and bloomed into a true friendship. I always had to go and say hello to my friend no matter how many days we were in town. You always had time to just say hello no matter how busy you were. Your Legacy will live forever thought your sweet family.
RIP my friend you are now home with all the other angels. Look down upon us and make us all as strong as you.

All the wonderful nights seeing Big Mike at the track was always pleasant to see. Mike was supportive of everyone whether family or not he always had a firm hand shake and a warm hello. I'm proud to have know Mike and he will be in our memories forever. May his love and kindness live on through his family and his friends. Rest in peace Mike, we will see you on the other side!
