

Services for Mildred Shipp Cooper will be 11am Saturday October 30, 2010 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen with Pastor Franks officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10-11am.
Mrs. Cooper,84, of Killeen was born October 27, 1925 in Detroit, TX and passed away October 23, 2010 in Temple, TX.
Mildred was a lifetime member of the Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, a Past Matron of Florence Chapter #440 and a member of the Southwestern Bell County Volunteer Fire Department. She retired from Killeen Independent School District. She was a long-time volunteer at Bell Haven Nursing Home and a member of Memorial Baptist Church for over thirty years. At the time of her death, Mildred was a member of 777 Baptist Fellowship. She had many hobbies and interests, including ceramics, sewing and reading. Recently she enjoyed bowling with her great-grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie G. Cooper; son, Charles Edward Cooper, granddaughter, Elizabeth Christine Bullion; grandson, James Gerron Cooper, JR.; and sister, Sue Long.
Survivors include daughter; Beth Bullion of Killeen, TX, sons; James Gerron Cooper and wife Francis of Waldorf, MD, Matthew Cooper and wife Dorothy of Georgetown, grandchildren; Anna Tunstall, Latisha Miller, Bobby Cooper, Rochelle Cooper and Matthew Cooper, great grandchildren; Reese Burgan, Shawn Tunstall, David Tunstall, Jacob Tunstall, Isaac Tunstall, Matthew Miller, great-great grandchild; Shawn Parker Tunstall and many loving friends.
Honorary pallbearers are Gary Cox, Dick Oppenheimer, James Gerron Cooper, Matthew Cooper, Don Tunstall, Reese Burgan, Jacob Tunstall, Isaac Tunstall and Matthew Aaron Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to the Killeen Food Care Center or the charity of your choice.
