Modesto Ramos, age 94, passed away November 4th in his Killeen home. A visitation for Mr. Ramos is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. Services are set for 10:00 am Thursday, November 8, at Killeen Seventh-day Adventist Church with burial to follow in Killeen Memorial Park.
Modesto was born June 20th, 1918 in San German, Puerto Rico to Juan Ramos Rivera and Elevteria Rivera Callazo.
Mr. Ramos is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maria Clara Ortiz, and a grandson, Raul Tirado.
Survivors include four daughters, Ruth Casanova (husband Eduardo), Milca Gonzalz (husband Louis), Vilma Velez (husband Julio), and Damaris Rivera (husband Antonio) and four sons, Roberto Sanabria (wife Iraidai), Modesto Ramos (wife Josephine), Hector Ramos (wife Millie), and Johnny Ramos (wife Encarnation).
