I am so sorry Rosie for your loss! Nancy and I go back to Colorado we’re I met her. We became very close friends until both went different ways with the army. I will always remember her in my thoughts and prayers. Rosie, you are now in charge of Alfonso!

Nancy and I had so much fun at the "Women of Faith" conference in 2014. We always spoke about getting back on the road again and booking another conference or travel to Canton [flea market], but life happened... We also shared the love of garage sales, board & dice games, and of course food. This is not goodbye my beautiful friend, I will see you in heaven :)

I met Nancy in 1983. We were neighbors in Germany. We had some crazy fun! Nancy drove everywhere not caring that she didn't have a drivers license. We went to Holland and Paris together. As we were leaving a restaurant in Paris  an employee came out chasing us telling us we didn't pay the bill. We thought each other had paid it. We laughed about this  for years stating we were partners in crime. My greatest happiness for Nancy is when she met Rosie. They were soulmates. Their love for each other was obvious. It's not goodbye Nancy, it's see you later.

A wonderful person.  Always full of life. I enjoyed her presence and talking to her. I was blessed to have known this sweet lady.  May the Lord bless her, and grant her eternal rest.

I will miss her so much she was my American sister and full of love and laughter.  When we got together we laughed till our stomachs hurts . She was my partner in crime . 

There are so many memories from my childhood, from 6th grade to after high school.  I remember visiting her at her first apartment, I believe it was by the library.  She was so excited!  She was kind and had such a wonderful smile.  My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.  May your memories bring you comfort.  (adding  a great photo  Debbie Craig shared.)

My cousin Nancy always had a generous and caring heart and went above and beyond for others.  One time, I commented how much I liked the picture of her carnival glass chicken dish that she posted on fb and that I had always wanted one.  She immediately went shopping at garage sales and thrift stores until she found this one and sent it to me.  She wouldn’t let me pay her for it.  Her generosity and good heart was unparalleled.  I will truly miss her.

From Junior high through High school, Nancy was one of my very best friends.   We did so much together. She went with my family to visit my Grandparents in Nebraska a few times. We hung out in the "cheesehouse" up at Wheeling Park and smoked cigarettes! In HS we would all gather at my house after school for french fry parties. Recently, (as she was entering hospice care) I spoke with Nancy and we laughed so much reminiscing about the old days. I will miss her.

My dearest cousin Nancy. I will never forget all the special times we shared together when you and Rosie came to visit us in Colorado. You have made my life so wonderful just to reconnect with you after all these years, and I will miss you so much. I know you are in a better place now and free of pain and for that I’m grateful. I will carry you and our memories in my heart forever. Rest In Peace my dear cousin🙏🏽 I love you more than words could ever express. Thank you for being a part of my life.

My sweet sister, I will miss the laughter we shared whenever we were together. Your bravery throughout your illness inspires me. All of your hospice nurses spoke of your positive attitude and lack of complaint in spite of the immense pain you were in.

        I remember our laughs together. I joined the coffee group on Fridays and when I ment you, I knew that you are one of the good ones.I know we could of became good friends.  I made you laugh, especially when I told you that I keep my lawnmower/tires in the kitchen. I still can see your smile , and laugher—we laughed together. that’s what I’ll remember .        

Rosie, so sorry to hear of your Nancy passing. You two were a great team and fun couple. You will be in our thoughts & prayers.

Nancy was the first friend that my sister and I made in the Aurora neighborhood that we moved to back in 1972. She was kind and caring and a good friend.  We lost touch after high school but reconnected on Facebook and she always stayed in touch.  I am sorry that she passed but I know her faith was strong and she was joyous with the lord. God bless all her family and friends.
