

Narciso Miranda, LTC. Ret. D.D.S. 76, passed away at home December 14. 2011. A visitation for Mr. Miranda is scheduled for Monday, December 19 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the rosary at 7:00 pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Services for Mr. Miranda are scheduled for Tuesday, December 20 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial scheduled for 12:00 pm at Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery.
Narciso was born June 19, 1935 to Narciso and Leonora Miranda in San Angelo, Texas. He married Patricia French January 9, 1960 in Houston, Texas. He served as a dentist during his service in the U. S. Army and retired with over 20 years service. During his service he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with 10 Years Service, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal 2/1 Bronze Service Star.
Mr. Miranda is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Albert.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Patricia, three sons, Albert, James, and Michael (wife, Debra); one grandson, Drew; two granddaughters, Madison and Analyse, and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations be made in lieu of flowers to St. Joseph School, 2903 E. Rancier Ave. Killeen, Texas 76543.
