Pamela Lee Goodnight

Pamela Lee Goodnight, age 69, of Killeen, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. Pamela was born to the late Elmer and Hazel Goodnight in Labrador, Canada. Due to her father serving as a Captain in the Air Force, she was well traveled, but she lived the majority of her life in Texas.

Pam was very outgoing and very family oriented. Although she never married or had any children, Pam and Misty became a very close knit family. She took great pride in becoming a Grandmother and was present for all of their births. She enjoyed being called Grandma Pam - Pam and always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren. She had a pure soul and was one of the greatest persons you could ever meet. She loved animals and had a black Lab named Skittles which she had for 11 years and one cat named Simba. She knew everything to know about dogs and cats and she loved them all. She enjoyed and loved things such as cross stitching, arts and crafts,Topsy Ranch, drive thru safaris, camping and being outdoors. She never met a stranger and would do anything and everything for those in her life.

Pam was a college graduate and earned a Bachelor's degree in Child Development. She used her degree in Child Development and worked as a Preschool Teacher. In her later years, Pam was diagnosed with dementia and was cared for by her caregiver, Misty Nichols Wiltshire for ten years. Misty became her family and loved Pam dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memories her best friend and caregiver of 10 years, Misty Nichols Wiltshire; Grandchildren, Jayden, Aaliyah, Jada, Rayven and Xyrus and a host of family and beloved friends.

Pam was preceded in death by her Mom and Dad, Elmer and Hazel Goodnight and Sister, Janice Goodnight.

A Visitation for Pamela will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. A Service will occur Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM followed by a Committal Service at 2:30 PM at Holland Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers are John Kirby, John Kirby Jr., Trinton Kirby, Josh Kirby, Jerry Wiltshire and Kalon Johnston.
