Patricia A Shifflett

Patricia was born on June 20, 1944, in Bath County, Virginia, alongside her twin sister, to Jesse and Beulah May. She graduated from Covington High School in the Class of 1961. Shortly after, she married the love of her life, Frank Shifflett, on September 8, 1961, in Covington, Virginia. Together, they raised two children, Douglas Shifflett Jr. and Becky Falk, both of Killeen, Texas.

Patricia dedicated 35 years of service in food operations at Fort Hood, where she was known for her loyalty, kindness, and strong work ethic before retiring in 2014. Outside of work, she found great joy spending time on the golf course with her husband and cherished every moment spent with her family.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generosity, and unconditional love as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Frank Shifflett; three sisters; and seven brothers.

She is survived by her children, Douglas Shifflett Jr., (Barbara) and Becky Falk, (Duane). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Sarah Yowell, (Matthew) Bryan Daugherty, Mark Shifflett, (Joanne) and Matthew Shifflett, (Elizabeth); and her great-grandchildren: Addison Yowell, Aubree Yowell, Brayden Daugherty, Breyona Daugherty, Nathan Shifflett, Lucy Shifflett, Lauren Shifflett, Quinn Shifflett, and Benjamin Shifflett.

A Visitation will be held at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen on Wednesday, August 6, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. A Graveside Service will follow on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
