

1SG (Ret.) Roberto Virgilio Jolliffe Jr. was born in Colon, Republica of Panama, June 8, 1963 to Carmen Hall and Roberto Jolliffe Sr. He later moved to Detroit Michigan from Panama after the union of Carmen Hall and Step-Father Charlie Williamson at the age of 3 yrs. old in November 1967. He was led and accepted Christ at an early age. He was the oldest of four children and his siblings are Diedre, Raymond Sr, & Diane Williamson. In his youth he attended Detroit Public Schools and graduated Kettering High School in the summer of 1984. After completion he decided and enlisted into the United States Army that fall where he started his career as a Chaplains Assistant. While on active duty status in 1986 stationed at Killeen Army Base, Fort Hood TX, he met and married the love of his life Delilah Mary Santiago, which two sons were conceived the first-born Roberto Virgilio Jolliffe III in 1988 followed by Javiel Enrique Jolliffe in 1990.
During the mid 90’s Roberto decided to join the active reserve and found employment at Scott & White Memorial Hospital for the past 18 years, where he met Gloria Martinez and married August of 2000.
Roberto had a combined military time of over 29 years of exemplary & faithful service to our country both active duty and active reserve. Listed below are units he served in and made a significant impact in carrying out his duties:

Roberto will forever be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, friend, mentor and leader who inspired many on how he lived every moment, laughed and kept all in his presence happy and mostly his uncommon love he displayed to all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his Mother Carmen Hall-Wingfield, His two sons Roberto V. Jolliffe III , Javiel E. Jolliffe & Daughter-in-law Stacy O. Jolliffe and his Grand Daughter Jacey Alivia Jolliffe & future grandbaby on the way also, Ex Beloved Wife Delilah M. Santiago. Oldest Sister: Diedre (Paul) Rambo and their children Ricardo (Rymia) Williamson [nephew] & Odessia [niece] (Revion/Christopher Miller). Younger Brother: Raymond (Kai) Williamson and their Children Raymond Jr. & Raevette Williamson [nephew & niece]. Youngest Sister: Diane (Maurice) Williams and their children Brandon [nephew] (Monica/Zachary) & Jubilee Williams [niece]. Also his ever loving Aunts Melva & Jasmine Jolliffe and his fellow siblings from his Father: Argelis Jolliffe [sister] (Los Angeles) and Jason Jolliffe [brother] (Florida). Second Ex wife Gloria Ortiz and Stepdaughters: Nakeisha Ortiz, Ayanna Rice, & Ariana Rice. God Parents of his Children Dan & Stacy Daniels and his God children Alex & Amanda Daniels.

The Jolliffe family will receive guests for a time of visitation on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral home of Killeen. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral home of Killeen. Burial will follow in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with full Military honors.
