

SFC Reymundo Dehoyos Tambunga was born on July 15, 1952 in Sonora, TX to Ercilia and Renal Tambunga. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Chomi Pak Tambunga; his daughters, Linda and Christina, and his son, Daniel; brothers: John, Rene, Emilio, and Frank, and his sisters: Shio, and Betty.
Drafted for the Vietnam War, Reymundo proudly served in the US Army for 22 years, participating in Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Upon retirement from the US Army, he worked for the US Postal Service. After 28 years of service to the US Government, he retired and served as a deacon for the Galilee Methodist Church until his passing on March 28th, 2010.
Visitation will be Wednesday March 31st, from 5pm-8pm, with a prayer service at 5pm at the Crawford Bowers Funeral Home at 1615 South Ft. Hood St. Killeen, TX 76542.
Funeral services will be held on April 1st at 11am at the Galilee Methodist Church, 1210 North 2nd St., Killeen, TX 76541, followed by a service with Military Honors at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery.
Reymundo was a most inspiring, humble, and beloved man. His spirit will continue to inspire all who were blessed enough to know him.
