Robert Bostick

Memorial services for Robert “Bobby” Bostick, Sr. 72 of Killeen will be Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Killeen with Pastor Andrew Green officiating. Entombment of cremated remains will be at 10 AM, with full military honors, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Mr. Bostick was born to William and Mary-Love Smith Bostick on October 24, 1937 in Nashville, TN. He passed away in Temple on February 25, 2010. He retired from the Army in 1980 after serving 20 years at the rank of SFC. He received the following medals while on duty: National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign, Combat infantryman Badge, Vietnam Service Medal w/4 Bronze Service Stars Army Commendation Medal and Good Conduct Medal, silver 1 loop.

Mr. Bostick had lived in the Area for more than 48 years and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He was also employed by the IRS and sold insurance for several years.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years Cynthia Bostick, a son Robert Bostick and wife Ina, brother Ronald Bostick, sister Jamie –Love Miller and three grandchildren.
