In this life you meet all kinds of folks, Robert Ugofsky was one of a kind. The most thoughtful person I have ever met. He loved the US Navy, and his shipmates. The world was a better place with him in it. I will always remember him for his kindness, and friendship. Rest in God's peace.  

I will miss you uncle Rob. I will always remember when you travelled all the way to Mexico for my quinceañera.

Rubí, mucha fortaleza en este momento duro de la vida. Agradece a Dios el tiempo compartido con él, y sigue adelante como la madre protectora que siempre has sido. Desde el cielo tendrás todo el apoyo de tu marido. Te abrazo con el corazón! Mariló

I was very sad to learn of Rob's passing. The times I was able to meet him, I remember his kindness and warmth. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones, may he rest in peace. 

Siempre que pienso en Rob a mi mente llega un hermoso ser humano,  excelente padre, leal esposo , siempre dispuesto a apoyar con sus múltiples talentos y a deleitar a todos con sus exquisitos platillos. Quedará su huella en nuestros corazones,  un abrazo  hasta el cielo. 

I remember the time that I was thinking of joining an you told me to stay home go Army but to see the world go Navy. An yet when I joined Army an got out we meet an I doubled your countries to come to 16 an yet I had 30 countries in 7 yrs. You were a kind good brother. I will truly miss you "Big Rob".

We honor Rob's memory, and we do it pleading God our Lord take care of him in his Celestial Kingdom and bless his family here on Earth.

He was just about always there for me taking care of my brothers and me. I am really going to miss him. 

I did not know Mr.Ugofsky very well. But I knew Dr. Ruby, and I knew he loved to cook. Because for one of our Spanish fiestas, he made a delicious Smorgasbord of food. He was always very supportive of both Dr. ruby and the students at The University of Mary Hardin Baylor. He will be missed and I want to send my condolences to all of the loved ones that are left behind. May you find comfort in Jesus and knowing that he is at peace and in the comforting hands of the Lord and Savior.

What I remember about Rob is his generous heart always eager to help, but above all his family oriented characteristic.

He will not be forgotten.

Robert has always been a great man, father; and husband. We will always miss him. 

If your fortunate to meet a man like Robert and discover true friendship in this life, you know you have been blessed.  
I have never known a more kind, gentle, caring, encouraging soul than Robert. He was the “Real Deal”, nothing pretentious. Our favorite go to place was a little Chinese restaurant in Staten Island. Our coffin rack talks at night got each of us through those tough times away from homeport. With Robert you always felt relaxed and comfortable.  Sometimes, you got blessed with the phrase “You Rock” when you did something really stupid. Never demeaning, always encouraging, forever loving, with that contagious smile and grin , he would end our conversations with “Love you brotha…See you again someday my brotha.

You are flying high catching all the big fish now

So many memories, had 45 years with you Robert and it wasn’t enough.  You are truly missed every day.  I break out in laughter thinking of you sometimes.
