Ruth Ann McIlvenna

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Pryde, father, Elwin C. ‘Pete’ McIlvenna, and mother Aldah McIlvenna.

She is survived by daughter T. Renea McIlvenna, Killeen, Texas, son Kevin L. McIlvenna, Antioch, California and son Michael K. McIlvenna, Killeen, Texas. Ruth Ann was the grandmother of four grandchildren: Regan and Brandon McIlvenna, Killeen, Texas, and Tyler and Halle McIlvenna of Antioch, California.

Ruth Ann was a strong, giving, caring and devoted person and those surrounding her were deeply touched and inspired. Her energy and spirit were boundless and her work ethic was tireless. She was recently retired from the Educational Services Division at Fort Hood, Texas where she worked for over 30 years accumulating a wealth of friends.

She was an active Mother and Grandparent who remained engaged in her children’s livelihoods and was well known within the community. She will be missed by many, but her legacy will be never ending.

A memorial service in honor of Ruth Ann McIlvenna will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen.
