Scott served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Nevada Test Site after many years in the mining industry. He loved raising horses and training them for rodeo events with his children and grandchildren. He was very involved with the rodeo while living in Pahrump, as rodeo was one of the passions of his life. His greatest passion of all was the love of his life Donna Gregory with whom he cherished each and everyday. For those who knew him all would agree that he was a hard man to know but easy to love. He loved spending countless hours in his shop building anything and everything for his grandchildren. He always loved to have his "handy-helpers," his grandkids, around him at all times. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He cherished his family and friends and enjoyed every day of his life to the fullest. He was fortunate to be surrounded by his family until the Lord called him home. He will be "Always In Our Hearts."
