Sherry Lou Alexander

Sherry Lou Alexander, 77, of Hutto, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. She was born January 15, 1948 in Lebanon, Indiana to Fred and Patricia Snoke. Sherry attended Westfield High School and graduated in the class of 1966. She married John Alexander on September 18, 1966 and they had one child, Ramona. She attended Trinity Church in Temple, Texas for many years, where she volunteered in the nursery and had a strong passion to teach children about the love of Jesus. Sherry was also very active in ROO P.R.I.D.E. while her daughter attended Killeen High School.

She will be remembered for how welcoming she made everyone feel in her home. Sherry had many that considered her as a second mother. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and sharing them with others. Sherry was also a great cook and loved sharing all the delicious food she made with those around her. She had a menagerie of pets throughout her life. Sherry cherished her family and was thrilled when she became a Nanny 21 years ago - her grandson Eric was her pride and joy.

Sherry is survived by her husband John Alexander, daughter Ramona (Nolan) Egly, grandson Eric Egly, sister Libby (James) McColgin, and brother Raymond (Lavonne) Snoke. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews and twelve great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Sherry will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 South Fort Hood Road, Killeen, TX 76542-1654.
