

Tom Gordon, Jr., age 68, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas, from an acute illness. He was surrounded by his adoring family.
He was a loving husband, devoted father, loyal son, amazing big brother and a dear friend to many. He had a warm smile, a gentle demeanor, and unwavering generosity. Always helpful without questions.
He was born December 3, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio, to Tom Gordon and Victoriana (Muzquiz) Gordon.
He was a 1977 graduate of Killeen High School. He went on to work for Piggly Wiggly and thereafter at H-E-B at a time when there were “butchers” working in the meat market. He was respected for his dedication and hard work, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working with him.
In his free time, he enjoyed the simple moments spent with his family and friends tending to his yard, traveling, enthusiastically supporting his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, and out-door grilling for family gatherings.
Tom will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Bertha Olivia (Mora) Gordon; his children, Melisa Quezada; son-in-law, Fausto Quezada and Alexander Gordon; his parents Tom G Gordon and Victoriana Gordon; his sister, Martha Hammond; brother-in-law, Henri Hammond; sister, Maria Elena Fattahi; brother-in-law, Shahram Fattahi; his brother Juan Antonio Guerra; his sister-in-law Mariela Guerra and his sister, Marisol Corbett; brother-in-law, Leander Corbett; as well as nieces and nephews: Phillip and Lance Hammond, Nathaniel, Victoria, Juan A. Jr and Tom Guerra, Miranda and Leander E. Corbett.
Preceding him in death is his brother Jimmy Gordon.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the memorial service, celebrating Tom’s life Friday, February 20, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 S. Fort Hood Street, Killeen, Texas.
He will be remembered fondly for his kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit. The family asks that you perform an act of kindness in his memory.
