Travis Beckett Snow II

Travis was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Enola Beckett and Travis Snow.

Travis is a 2011 graduate of Killeen High School and was a part of the JROTC Rifle Team. The Rifle Team went to the Jr. Olympics where Travis placed top 10 in the nation. After graduation, Travis enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Being a Marine was all Travis ever talked about, and he was on fire to serve his country and to wear the uniform. In 2014, his heart stopped working and he went into cardiac arrest. God felt that it was not Travis’ time to leave the Earth, so He sent him back to his family. Travis retired from the Marine Corps in 2015 and returned to the Central Texas Area. In 2016, Travis and Kailani Maines had a beautiful son named Caiden. As many who encountered Travis, he adored Caiden and would do anything he could to be a father.

In addition to being a family man and a veteran, Travis volunteered at the Animal Shelter and spent time with his family regaining his memory and finding his purpose. Travis then worked at the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office. He loved working there, because he was able to boss people around and put them in holds if and when they needed.

Travis lived the last years with lifelong partner Jen Gilmore and her two daughters, Brooke (9) and Chelsea (24). There is nothing that Travis wouldn’t do for his family. Travis left working the jail so he could have more time with his children and family, working instead for Overhead Door of Waco. He enjoyed meeting the customers and completing installing the doors.

Travis is now spending time with his Aunt Tracy and Great Granny, Eleanor Beckett.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his Mother- Enola Beckett (Damien) of Killeen, Texas; Father- Travis (Tracye) Snow of Harrisburg, North Carolina; Step Father - Johnny Johnson of Waco, TX, Son-Caiden Snow of Killeen, Texas; Brothers- Gairet (Jakora) Snow of Houston, Texas; Caleb Johnson (Kaiya), Killeen, Texas; Elijah Johnson Killeen, Texas, Ray Emanuel Jr., North Carolina; Sisters- Jewelle (Dylan) of Alexandria, VA ; Jazmyn (Johnathan) Floyd of Maryland; Trarae Emanuel of Washington DC; Alandra Bandy of Stafford, VA; Lifelong partner - Jennifer Gilmore, Brooke and Chelsea Gilmore of Hewitt, Texas; Grandparents, Brenda Beckett of Richmond, Indiana and Gene & Kathy Snow, of Florida.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home at 1615 S. Fort Hood St. Killeen, TX 76542.
