Tyrone "Ty" Dishman, age 66, of Killeen, passed away December 27 in Temple. A visitation is set for Thursday, January 2, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. Mr. Dishman's service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Thursday, January 2, at Crawford-Bowers.
Ty was born December 12, 1947 in Detriot Michigan to Roy and Maggie(Rutledge) Dishman. Tyrone joined the United States Army and served his country for over 20 years, retiring with the rank of SSC. He was a man that loved God, his family and his country.
Survivors include his wife, Vera; a daughter Andrea Williams; a grandson, Gabriel Williams; a granddaughter, Airyanna Williams; six brothers, Cleother, Frank, Randolf, Reggie, and Larence Dishman and Ozell Washington and four sisters, Vanessa Brown, Yolanda and Beverly Dishman, and Earlene Cosby.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Vera Dishman, 1310 Farhills Drive, Killeen, Texas 76549.
