He was born January 12, 1955 in New York, New York and passed away in Harker Heights on February 5, 2019.
Vincent Maurosa-Cruz was born in Manhattan, New York at Bellevue Hospital to Vicente Maurosa and Baudilia Cruz on January 12, 1955. He spent his childhood years to adulthood in Yauco, Puerto Rico. He graduate from Antonini Hight School in 1973. He obtained a bachelors degree in Public Administration from La Universidad Interamericana. He enlisted into the US Army where he served 23 years. He retired in June of 1998. He also retired from the United States Postal Service in 2017. On January 31,1990 he married Lydia Ruth Mata and they raised one daughter, Gabriela Christel and one son, Vincent Sebastian. He is preceded in death by his mother Baudilia Maurosa. He is survived by his wife Lydia R. Maurosa, his daughter Gabriela C. Maurosa, his son Vincent S. Maurosa, his granddaughter Syrenity Aaliyah Maurosa, his grandson Isaac Esaias Hinds, his stepdaughters Sylvia Lowe and Serena Martinez along with 5 grandchildren: Juan Carrillo, Ramon Carrillo, Richard Lowe, Gabriel Martinez, and Margarita Hernandez, his siblings: Emilie Camacho, Carmen Elsayed, Nerida Maurosa, Oscar Maurosa, Edda Maurosa, Louis Maurosa Guitierrez, and Michelle Maurosa Guitierrez, along with many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
