Wilburn M. Housewright

He was born January 15, 1926 in Bell County to Doc Rogers Housewright and Janie Rebecca Housewright.

He retired from Civil service as a Planner and Estimator in the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Hood, Texas in December of 1991.

Mr. Housewright was a member and deacon of Skyline Baptist Church in Killeen.

He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Beth Kirkpatrick Housewright on April 19, 2007 and a son, Howard Wayne Housewright on July 24, 2009.

He is survived by his son, Stanley Housewright and his wife Kathy; three daughters, Becky Bliton and her husband Bill, Doris Wilkerson and her husband Pete and Dolores Gommert and her husband Dwayne; ten grandchildren, Brent Bliton and his wife Paula, Brandi Schaub and her husband Cory, Brandi Ancira and her husband Mike, Jeremy Gommert, Darrell Wilkerson, Stephanie Wilkerson and John Bullock, Joshua Gommert, Randall Housewright, Justin Housewright and Kaylin Housewright; fourteen great grandchildren, Jodeci Dare Ancira, Brittaney Bliton, Summer Breez Ancira, Meyer Ray Ancira, Kylie Bliton, Kami Bliton, Makaia Wilkerson, Kimber Bliton, Kaden Bullock, Makenzie Shaughnessy-Housewright, Bailey Schaub, Jordan Schaub, Morgan Schaub and Peyton Schaub.

The Housewright family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2011 at Skyline Baptist Church in Killeen with Rev. Jack Husung officiating assisted by Pastor Kenny Rawls. Interment services will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nolanville.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brent Bliton, Jeremy Gommert, Darrell Wilkerson, Joshua Gommert, Randall Housewright and Justin Housewright. Honorary pallbearers are Meyer Ray Ancira and Kaden Bullock.
