Mr. Reed honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, during WWII and Korean Conflict retiring as an CWO W-3 after 20 years of service . After his retirement from the Military, he worked for Civil Service for 18 years. Then he and his wife, C.J. successfully owned and operated BC’s Repair Center.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, C.J. Reed; sisters: Darlene Houston of Baird, Texas, Virginia Dale Lonergan, Billie Ruth Unrein, Margaret Sue Bogie of Denver, Colorado and Elizabeth Diann Robert of Ohio; brother-in-law, James Kelley of Clyde, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Betty Kelley.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2016 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
