It was always a delight when Barbie came to Michigan to visit.  I will never forget the wonderful memories of seeing her portray Marilyn Monroe.  She was a special person who always had a smile for you.  I continue to keep your family in my prayers.  Nancy Sink

There is a common statement when friends speak of Barb...her smile and and friendliness.  That is so true.  We will all miss you. Knowing you are where we will see you agian.

Barb,had a beautiful smile and always speak when passed in the office.  She will be greatly  missed but she is smiling down on all who loved her.  My prayers will be with you.

Barbara was a most kind and caring individual even while facing her own illness.  She never gave up hope and never ceased being quite amusing.  She will be missed by all who knew her, and stay in their hearts forever.

Barb will be missed by us all. We will never forget her and will always remember the good times we had. She was such a fighter to the end and ALWAYS had a smile on her face. Now she is out of pain and in heaven looking down at all of us. She is a beautiful angel! We love you Barb and miss you.

I don't think Barbie ever met a stranger. She had the ability to light up a room with her infectious smile and never failed to captivate her entire audience with her endless adventure stories and her witty sense of humor. She was passionate about her "family" and thoroughly enjoyed sharing stories about them. Who knew that one day...The Aaron we always heard so much about would end up as our Son-in-Law? Life is always so full of suprises! Barbie we always looked forward to your Michigan visits and fondly recall the fun times we shared whenever you and Arnie would sub for our Euchre Group. 
You will be missed by many but the memories you made with each person whose life you touched will live on for a lifetime.  We "toast" you and your life.

What can I say about my friend, my office neighbor, my mentor and most of all my hero!! Barb Adams or Ms. Barbs as Chandon calls you.. I want to thank you for your loving and caring spirit. I want to thank you for making me a better person.. I think every one in the office will now think what would Barb do when faced with a challange??? Thanks to you I know the answer handle every situation as just a bump in the road. I will carry your courage and strength and love with me every day. You will truly be missed!!!

Adrienne...my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  You know how much I adored Barbara and she was a treasure I will always keep in my heart.  It was a privilege to be her nurse for so many years.  She was so much more to me than a patient...she was a friend in the truest sense and you are a beautiful reflection of her. For all the years I was acquainted with Barbara, she was never at a loss for a smile. Barb's giggle and smile would bring a return smile back easily from all she met. The Lord blessed her with the ability to make friends happily and to remember the little things that others often forget. May the place God provided for her in heaven be with a window to all below that miss her deeply.

Barb was special in every aspect of her life - her sparkling, whimsical spirit; her infectious smile that would light up a room; the extraordinary way she touched everyone she met and made them feel better just by knowing her.  I will remember a sister who cheered me on growing up, picked me up when I was down and celebrated with me during the good times.  I will remember her as a proud and loving mother - Abby, Aaron and Adrienne, she will live on in the way you touch those in your life the same way Barb did - she will live on inside of each of you as a reflection of the person she was and you are. Words cannot describe the love and beautiful friendship I shared with you Barbara.  You were always the rock there for me, no matter what life challenges we all faced.  You are the star that twinkles forever in our hearts and now in the sky.  Your beautiful grandson Tray will always have those twinkles in his eye because of your love.  I miss you a million stars away but your friendship will always make me smile, laugh and love, the way you did every day of your life. I love and miss you already too much.

I will always remember her smile and the way she made others smile and laugh.  I think of her and smile every time I hear the "Adaams' Family theme song" as I heard it so many times on her answering machine.  Arnie, I am so sorry for your loss.

Barb, Always had a kind word and a warm touch.  She met no strangers. I believe that she was an angel placed on this earth to help make it a better place.

Working with Barb the past few years has been a ray of sunshine in my life.  She is an inspiration to everyone.  Her smile would light up the situation no matter what.  Her spirit shines bright and she is missed.

To the Adams family, Barb was truely a great friend that has made me a better person just knowing her. She lifted everyone up when she was around even when she was not feeling well, what a gift from god she had. She will be greatly missed but not forgotten. Dear family: Barb was a true friend, she thought of others first. She loved her family and was proud of everything about them as you could tell by the look in her eyes when she talked about you all. She was the queen of merriment,  skilled  at bringing a smile or a laugh. People were drawn to her partly because she could make them happy with her incredible humor. We are sorry for your loss.

Barb will be missed.  She will always be a part of the Continental family.  When I was at JFK reservations I used to sit next to her.  She would laugh because I was Barb and my husband is Arnie too.  We had some great laughs and she taught me a lot.  Rest in peace Barb and my condolences to her whole family.
